Scripture is remarkably practical.  What happens when the wisdom of Proverbs, the words of Jesus, the mission of Acts, and the clarity of James actually shape the way we live?

 

Learning to live faithfully under the Lordship of King Jesus is at the heart of how HowToLife trains young people.

 

Practical Training for Life and Mission

 

HowToLife provides practical training in Scripture, the Gospel, evangelism, discipleship, leadership, and mission.

 

Training happens in many different ways – through retreats and intensives, personal coaching, online training, written resources, discipleship communities, and hands-on ministry experience.

 

We don’t only want young people to learn about mission.

 

We give them opportunities to actually do it.

 

Young people learn evangelism by sharing Christ.  They learn leadership by carrying real responsibility.  They learn discipleship by walking with others.  They learn endurance by navigating real challenges.  And through it all, we continually return to Scripture and Jesus Himself.

 

Training Our Leaders

 

Event Directors, Community Directors, missionaries, and staff receive practical tools and ongoing coaching for the ministry entrusted to them.

 

As HowToLife expands across cultures and nations, our growing library of training resources helps preserve strong biblical and ministry DNA while giving local leaders freedom to faithfully lead within their own context.

 

Why Training Matters

 

We don’t want to multiply activity without depth.

 

As new leaders, communities, and ministry initiatives are planted, intentional training helps young people grow deeper in Scripture, wisdom, faithfulness, discernment, and confidence to disciple others.

 

The goal isn’t simply to produce better HowToLife leaders.

 

The goal is to help form faithful followers of Jesus who can live surrendered and sent wherever He leads them.

 

Going Deeper in Scripture

 

Biblical language study has even become an exciting part of some HowToLife training.  Young leaders are learning key Hebrew and Greek words that illuminate biblical ideas and help them engage Scripture more carefully and deeply.
